IYV are an alternative rock band from Treviso, Italy, founded in 2001 by songwriter Matt G. Their music explores identity, dependency, love and self-reconstruction through raw guitars, cinematic dynamics and deeply symbolic songwriting. Rather than chasing trends, IYV have always treated music as an artistic necessity: something to be lived before being consumed.
